Though, this could be a good thing knowing that with both companies combined have over 1,500,000 domains hosted on their servers - 600,000 of which HostMonster.com has hosted themselves.
One downfall of HostMonster is that they only have one package to pick from; this means they offer no reseller servers, no dedicated servers, etc. What you get from them is unlimited everything hosting pretty much; which is also a good thing for small business or personal website uses.
Another thing is that if you are in look for a Windows server to use .asp coding and such, this isn't the company you are looking for. All websites on HostMonster are on their Linux servers and one way they are able to allow unlimited features like bandwidth, space and such is that HostMonster likes to keep out the highly popular websites that suck up and use all the features they can.
